The continuous flow sand filter can be installed independently or as a filter component in the cement pool.

High-power continuous flow sand filtration equipment usually consists of filter components and is built in a cement tank. Process flow and application
Continuous flowing sand filter is used to solve the problems of drinking water treatment, industrial water supply, water recycling and wastewater treatment before discharge. It is targeted at the user groups of utilities, pulp and paper industry, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining, food, power generation, incineration, metal finishing, electroplating and other industries that use and treat water.
Continuous contact filtration method
Continuous contact filtration is used to produce river and lake water into industrial water or drinking water, and is also used for wastewater treatment: flocculation chemicals are added to the continuous flow sand filter inlet water, and the front of the filter bed serves as a reaction medium to provide good conditions for the rapid formation of flocs without the need for a flocculation tank. And because continuous flow sand filters have the ability to handle high concentrations of suspended solids, wastewater does not require pre-settlement.
Process water recycling reduces water consumption and enables comprehensive control of water quality. The used process water that has been screened and pre-settled is pumped into the continuous flow sand filter, and the filtered water is recycled. The sand washing water is flocculated and thickened, and the water overflowing from the concentration device is returned to the filter.
The three-stage filtration method is used for final treatment before wastewater discharge. If necessary, the contact filtration method can be used, and aluminum or iron salts are used as flocculants to precipitate phosphorus and enhance the removal of suspended solids.
The treatment results can meet the high environmental protection standards of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.
The filtration process is also used in conjunction with biological denitrification, where nitrate is converted into nitrogen gas by an active bacterial layer on the filter particles.
Treatment of metal-containing industrial wastewater, including metal ion precipitation and flocculation, sedimentation and filtration in continuous sand filters. This process results in low metal residue.
The filter media is ordinary graded quartz sand, only bioactive filters use special raw materials. Activated carbon filters are a special form of using activated carbon as the media.
