mechanical filter

Working principle and structure
Mechanical filter uses one or several filter media. Under a certain pressure, allows the raw liquid to pass through the media to remove impurities, thereby achieving the purpose of filtration. The fillers inside are generally: quartz sand, anthracite, granular porous ceramics, manganese sand, etc. Users can choose to use them according to actual conditions.
Mechanical filter mainly uses fillers to reduce turbidity in water, intercept and remove suspended solids, organic matter, colloidal particles, microorganisms, chlorine odor and some heavy metal ions in the water, so as to purify the water supply. One of the traditional methods of water treatment.
Features
1, low equipment cost, low operating cost, easy management
2, filter material can be used multiple times after backwashing, long filter life
3, good filtration effect, small footprint
Application scope
Mechanical filtration is widely used in the water treatment process, mainly used for water treatment turbidity removal, reverse osmosis, and pre-treatment of ion exchange softening and desalination systems, and can also be used for surface water and groundwater sediment removal. The inlet water turbidity is required to be less than20degrees, and the outlet water turbidity can reach below3degrees.
