How to deal with the foam problem of integrated sewage equipment
During the treatment process of integrated sewage equipment, you may encounter a situation, which is the generation of foam. So, how to control the generated bubbles? If the foam problem is not handled properly, it will cause great trouble to the project once it overflows.
1. Water spray
The high-speed spray of water or water droplets can destroy the bubbles floating on the water surface, and some broken sludge particles can restore the settling performance again, thereby reducing bubbles. Spraying water can reduce foam, and spraying an aerobic pool can achieve long-term defoaming effects. Although water spraying cannot solve bubbles, it is a simple and commonly used physical method.
2. Add chemical reagents
Adding chemicals can solve the foam problem in a short time and is easy to operate. However, adding chemicals will not only solve the foam problem, but also have a great impact on the sludge. The use of chemicals will have a great impact on the quality of the effluent treated by
integrated sewage equipment, and the treatment of residual substances is also a problem.
3. Shorten the sludge residence time
Reducing the sludge residence time in the aeration tank, that is, reducing the average cell residence time, can control the biological foam in the process. Reducing the sludge residence time is essentially a biological screening strategy, which uses the long average generation time of foam microorganisms to control or eliminate the excessive proliferation of foam microorganisms in the aeration tank, thereby achieving the purpose of controlling biological foam.
4. Adding carriers to the aeration reactor
不但可以增加曝气系统中加入移动或固定的填料,使一些容易产生污泥膨胀和泡沫的微生物生长稳定池中的生物量,提升integrated sewage equipment的效果,还可以减少或控制泡沫的产生。
